Aptus MEP provided a performance design for the switch from an old oil-fired heating to a new decarbonised electrically powered Air Source Heat Pump [ASHP] heating system.
Acting as the Client building services consultant, we developed a performance scheme applying modern technology in an old-style construction.
Due to the intrusive nature of the works, the existing incoming electrical utility infrastructure required upgrading, resulting in the need for planning approval. Aptus provided the end Client and project team the necessary technical support for successful supply upgrade delivery.
Holding responsibility for technical assurance, our engineers took a lead role in the verification and validation of the contractor’s design and installation, ensuring the original scheme intent was met and the quality of installation was commensurate with best industry practice.
